A Scottish Businessman Found Dead in Kenya
A Scottish businessman who went missing in Kenya eight days ago has tragically been found dead. Campbell Scott, a senior director at credit scoring firm Fico based in London, was last seen attending a conference at the JW Marriot Hotel in Nairobi on 16 February.
The company confirmed that Nairobi police have identified Campbell Scott’s body and have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Fico Confirms the Tragic News
In a statement, a spokesperson from Fico expressed their sorrow over the loss of Campbell Scott. They stated, «Fico can confirm that Nairobi police have identified the body of Campbell Scott, a Fico employee who went missing while on a business trip to Nairobi. As the investigation is ongoing, we are unable to provide further details at this time.»
The spokesperson continued, «Campbell was a valued leader in our international Scores business. Since joining Fico in 2014, he played a key role in expanding our business into new markets and fostering existing partnerships. His passing is a great loss to our company, and we will always remember his sense of humor and kindness. Our hearts go out to Campbell’s family and friends during this difficult time.»
