Tragic Incident in Northwest London
One person has tragically died and three others have been injured after a devastating crash involving a bus in northwest London. The incident occurred at around 9.15pm on Monday near Whitmore Road in Harrow.
Visuals from the scene depict the front window of a 395 bus shattered and a car with an apparent dent in the right side wedged between hedges and a fence.
London Ambulance Service Response
The London Ambulance Service responded swiftly to the incident, stating they were called to reports of a road traffic collision at 9.17pm on 24 February. They deployed multiple resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, members of the hazardous area response team (HART), as well as command support vehicles.
The trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance was also dispatched to the scene. They provided treatment to four patients on-site, transporting two patients to a major trauma center and discharging one patient at the scene.
Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of the medical teams, one individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
