A Metropolitan Police officer, PC Dion Arnold, is facing multiple charges of sex offenses, including rape. The Met Police revealed that Arnold is accused of four counts of rape, two counts of assault by penetration, and one count of sexual assault. He was apprehended by Surrey Police on 29 March.
These charges stem from a report filed earlier this year, with the alleged incidents occurring while Arnold was off duty. Arnold, who is assigned to the South West Command Unit, appeared at Guildford Magistrates’ Court and has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance at Guildford Crown Court on 1 May.
