A significant police search is underway for a runner who has been missing for three days – with officers expressing growing concern.
Jenny Hall, 23, was last seen departing from her residence in Barracks Farm, Tow Law, County Durham, in her vehicle shortly after 3pm on Tuesday.
In an update on Friday, Durham Constabulary disclosed that her last known location was on the B6278 between Stanhope and Eggleston, where her red Ford Focus was found parked.
Sniffer dogs are being deployed in the area, with a focus on running trails between Eggleston and Hamsterley that Ms Hall frequents.
Multiple expert mountain rescue search teams and air support have joined the search efforts.
Over 100 miles of trails have been combed through in the Teesdale region by law enforcement, the local community, and landowners.
Digital intelligence specialists have conducted thorough investigations into Ms Hall’s mobile phone, smartwatch, and running apps, but unfortunately, no significant findings have emerged.

Chief Inspector Dean Haythornthwaite remarked in a statement: «Our concern for Jenny has escalated since her disappearance was reported on Tuesday, and we have pursued all possible leads, including numerous tips from the public.
«Our search efforts are centered on locations where Jenny is known to frequent for her runs, and we are committed to exhausting all avenues to locate her.
«I extend my gratitude to all those tirelessly working on our search mission to reunite Jenny with her family.»
Ms Hall is described as white, 6ft tall, with dark brown hair.
She was last seen wearing a blue hoodie featuring a John Deere logo and dark jogging bottoms.
Her family indicated she may have had a green jacket with her and her hair tied up in a ponytail.
