Edinburgh tech firm launches graduate scheme

A global technology company based in Edinburgh is to launch a new recruitment scheme for high-flying graduates.

FNZ, which operates in the UK, Czech Republic, Australia and New Zealand, is set to offer around 50 recent and upcoming graduates the chance to launch their international careers as part of its global team.

The Edinburgh-based scheme will offer graduate secondments at various international FNZ sites – which the group says will help develop their skills in multiple locations and expose them to a range of life experiences.

Formed in 2002, the company, which designs, builds and supports ‘wrap’ platforms for the financial and wealth markets, already employs 75 graduates in Europe – a figure it says represents 10 per cent of the overall European workforce.

Daniel Kasmir HR director for UK-based FNZ, which says it hopes to change the way the world manages its wealth, said: “We’re always on the lookout for the best graduate talent available to help grow the business. Our new graduate scheme is a great opportunity for recent or upcoming graduates to get their first step on the career ladder at a time when the sector is going from strength to strength.

“With international secondments and competitive starting salaries on offer, we’re expecting a high demand for places on the scheme.”
